What this website is

Headwaters Health and Wealth LLC is an independent insurance agency based in Brighton, Colorado. This site exists to explain Medicare and health insurance options in plain English and to let you start a conversation with a licensed agent. It is a marketing and educational website.

It is not a government website, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating on behalf of Connect for Health Colorado, HealthCare.gov, the Health Insurance Marketplace, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or any federal or state agency.

Information, not advice

Everything published here is general information. It is not individualized insurance, legal, tax or medical advice. Insurance rules change, plans change every year, and your situation is specific to you.

Before acting on anything you read here, confirm it against your own plan documents or speak with a licensed agent about your circumstances.

Using this site does not make us your agent

Reading a guide, using a calculator, running the plan finder or sending a message through a form does not create an agent and client relationship with Headwaters Health and Wealth LLC or with Lisa Asmussen. That relationship begins only when you ask us to help you with a specific plan or application and we agree to do so.

Sending us a message does not enroll you in anything, change any coverage you already have, or hold a place in an enrollment period. Coverage starts only when a carrier, Medicare or Connect for Health Colorado approves an application.

Calculators and estimates

The calculators and estimates on this site use published figures and the details you enter. Which year applies depends on the tool:

• Medicare plan figures (the plan finder, plan counts, premiums and out-of-pocket maximums on the location pages) use the CMS 2027 contract year plan files.
• Federal Medicare amounts (the Part B premium and deductible, the Part D base premium, IRMAA brackets and penalties) use the 2026 values CMS has published. CMS usually announces the 2027 amounts in the fall.
• Health insurance and tax credit estimates for Connect for Health Colorado use 2026 plan-year rules unless the page says otherwise.

What an estimate is not

Results are estimates. They are not a quote, an offer of coverage, or a determination of eligibility, and they may differ from the final figure for many legitimate reasons, such as a change in your income, your county, the carrier's rates or a federal amount announced after the page was written.

Final premiums, savings and eligibility are confirmed at enrollment with Medicare, Connect for Health Colorado or directly with the carrier.

Plan data

Where this site displays Medicare plan names, carriers, premiums or out-of-pocket maximums, that data comes from the public Medicare Advantage and Part D Landscape files published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), matched to the ZIP code or county you choose. Government figures such as Medicare premiums and income limits come from CMS, Medicare.gov, the Social Security Administration, the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and the Colorado Division of Insurance, and each page names its sources.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. For information on all of your options, contact Medicare.gov, call 1-800-MEDICARE, or contact your State Health Insurance Assistance Program.

Accuracy of third-party data

We take care to copy public figures correctly and to date them, but we do not control the agencies and carriers that publish them. CMS releases corrected plan files during the year, carriers can change networks and drug lists, and government amounts change every January. We cannot guarantee that every figure is complete or current at the moment you read it.

If you find a figure that looks wrong, tell us and we will check it against the source and correct the page.

This site links to third-party websites, including our workshop and careers sites, carrier sites and government resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Acceptable use

• Do not use this site to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data
• Do not scrape, copy or republish substantial portions of the content without permission
• Do not submit false information through the forms, or submit information about another person without their permission

Intellectual property

The written content, design and code of this site are owned by Headwaters Health and Wealth LLC unless otherwise stated. The Headwaters Health and Wealth name and logo are our marks. Carrier names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the carriers we represent. Government figures quoted on this site are public information.

Limitation of liability

This site and everything on it are provided as is, without any promise that they are complete, error free or always available. To the fullest extent Colorado law allows, Headwaters Health and Wealth LLC and its agents are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site, relying on its general information or estimates, or being unable to reach it.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Colorado insurance law, or any duty a licensed agent owes you once we are helping you with a specific plan.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state courts serving Adams County, Colorado, unless Colorado law gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.

If you have a concern about an insurance agent or a policy, you can also contact the Colorado Division of Insurance, which licenses insurance agents in Colorado: file a complaint or ask a question.
